A complete bed with the reservoir built into the floor. Polypropylene wicking cells form a closed base under the soil, so water sits below the root zone and is drawn up by capillary action as the soil dries. Because the floor is closed rather than open, it can stand on a patio, a balcony or a roof terrace rather than needing bare ground.
